Els dies 18, 19 i 20 de setembre del 2026 Salou serà la seu de la 2a edició de la
Festa al Cel
, l'espectacle aeri més gran de l'estat espanyol, organitzat per l'Aeroclub Barcelona-Sabadell. Acrobàcies aèries a la platja amb avions civils i militars que sorprendran i divertiran tota la família.
Salou descobreix la seva Ruta Modernista i Noucentista
Un total de 14 edificis i construccions s’inclouen en la recentment inaugurada Ruta Modernista i Noucentista de Salou, un pas més del municipi per posar en valor el seu ric patrimoni arquitectònic de principis del segle XX. Xalets, un dipòsit d’aigua, un hotel i un edifici d’apartaments formen part d’una visita imprescindible que completa l’oferta turística de la capital de la Costa Daurada.
Talent local i grans noms de l’escena al TAS aquesta temporada
L’Ajuntament de Salou ha donat a conèixer la programació del Teatre Auditori de Salou (TAS) aquesta temporada 2026, en què destaca el talent local i grans noms de l’escena com Joan Pera, Albert Pla, Peyu, Imanol Árias, María Barranco i José Sacristán. En total més de 30 espectacles de música, dansa i teatre per a tothom.
Festa al Cel: més de 20 exhibicions aèries i espectacle amb 300 drons i pirotècnia
El cap de setmana del 19 al 21 de setembre de 2025 es preveu intens a Salou amb la Festa al Cel, una proposta única i gratuïta, amb 20 exhibicions aèries i un gran espectacle amb més de 300 drons, vols il·luminats, coreografies aèries, música i pirotècnia sincronitzada.
Next Generation per viure bé a Salou tot l’any i durant les vacances
A Salou es viu bé però encara es viurà millor perquè l'Ajuntament de Salou ha rebut 11 milions d'euros, provinents dels Fons Next Generation, per a fer un municipi més sostenible i resilient des del punt de vista ambiental, econòmic i social. Els projectes de 2021 ja estan executats en el 90% i els de 2023, en el 45%.
Aparcar a la zona blava a l'estiu
L'1 de juny l'Ajuntament de Salou activa la zona blava de les diferents àrees d'aparcament regulat del municipi, que funcionen cada dia de la setmana, de dilluns a diumenge, de 10h a 14h i de 17h a 21h, excepte als pàrquings de Llevant i Nord. Al setembre, celebració de la Festa del Rei Jaume I
Del 5 al 8 de setembre del 2024, Salou celebra la sortida del rei Jaume I des del Port de Salou a la conquesta de Mallorca. Durant aquests dies, diverses activitats culturals, esportives i lúdiques recordaran aquell moment històric amb el Mercat Medieval, la recreació històrica de la sortida reial, les conferències, els tallers i una regata, entre d'altres actes.

Music and colour at the Christmas lights switch-on
The Christmas lights switch-on is always a good time to enjoy Salou with the family, thanks to the music and colour show organised by the Town Hall. The chosen location is the central roundabout at the intersection of Barcelona Street and Via Roma, where a splendid 12-metre-high tree is installed, all made of LED lights, and crowned by a large star.

Eight international artists will exhibit their creations in the 'Pessebre de Sorra'
Eight international artists will be in charge of erecting their sand constructions on La Pineda beach in the traditional Pessebre de Sorra (Sand Manger). This edition will feature the history of Art.
Great masters of painting, until December 10 at the Torre Vella
The Torre Vella de Salou hosts until next December 10 the most important pictorial exhibition of those that have passed through this site so far. The collection belongs to the Escolà family and can be visited for free from Monday to Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
What to do in Salou in September: King Jaume I Festival and Medieval Market
From September 1 to 4, 2022, one of the most unique festivals in Salou is celebrated: the Rei Jaume I Festival, which arrives accompanied by cultural activities and the Medieval Market, as well as a royal procession, set in the 13th century, that runs through the main streets of Salou to the beach. Salou receives € 6 million to be more sustainable, smarter and more seasonally adjusted
The Salou City Council has been working for a long time to renovate the tourist destination and turn it into an avant-garde destination, this is more sustainable, smarter thanks to digitization, and more seasonally adjusted. The proposal has been supported by Next Generation funds, through the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, which will finance 6 million euros to make the project a reality.

When will PortAventura open?
PortAventura World had planned to open doors on March 27, but the Catalan health authorities have denied the request and, for the moment, have not given the park an alternative, so the management has announced to its customers that the Easter reservations they can be exchanged for other dates free of charge.
Salou lights up for Christmas
As every year, the Salou City Council has decorated the main shopping streets of the municipality with Christmas lighting, including a spectacular 10-meter-high Christmas tree, plus the 2-meter star that crowns it. The tree is located in the roundabout between Calle Barcelona and Vía Roma, the nerve center of the Salou shopping center and the place where Christmas lights are traditionally inaugurated every year.
