The Mossos arrested two criminals who rob a La Pineda petrol station with knives

Salou. Costa Dorada. 04 March 2018. The Mossos d'Esquadra stopped on February 27 two men of 28 years of Romanian nationality and residents of Salou, as alleged offenders of a robbery crime with violence and intimidation. The two detainees had landed a petrol station in La Pineda, in Vila-seca, and intimidated the worker with knives. The robbers, who acted hooded, took 150 euros from the recording box and the handbag of the worker with about 120 euros and various personal objects.

The agents that investigated the case made a statement to the victim and analyzed the images of the security cameras in which the car used for the flight appeared. The identification of one of the authors was achieved thanks to the found traces and the second author was identified as a result of the investigation initiated on the first.

The agents knew that the authors intended to get rid of the vehicle used in theft and other objects that could incriminate them, which is why a device was organized to stop them. In this police operation, the judge authorized an entry and removal at the home of detainees where the police officers found several pieces of clothing from one of the authors used in the robbery, as well as finding fifty marijuana plants. The vehicle found was also directly related to theft.

The two authors came to court on March 2 and the judge decreed the admission to prison for one of them and freedom with charges for the other.
