Nine stores in Salou, "qualified" for their interest in improving their management

Salou. Costa Dorada. 15 February 2018. Nine Salou stores have received a diploma in recognition for having been part of the Point of Sale Diagnosis Program in 2018. The initiative, promoted by the City of Salou and the Chamber of Commerce of Tarragona, aims to offer advice and assess the management of the commercial establishments that have adhered to this examination on business improvement strategies.

The president of the Chamber wanted to congratulate the merchants for the good results of the diagnosis and encouraged them to continue working as before. On the other hand, both the mayor and the councilor wanted to congratulate the various establishments for their participation in this initiative and encouraged them to remain competitive, original and differentiated.

The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, together with the Councilor for Promotion and Economic Revitalization, Trade, Markets and Consumption of the Municipality of Salou, Martina Fourrier; and the President of the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Services of Tarragona, Laura Roigé Pons; have awarded the diplomas of the Point of Sale Diagnostic Program at Violette Man, Iona Fantasy Environments, Georgia Flowers, R & X Fashion, Tissu, Carricondo II, Quky, Cotton and Andreas stica in recognition of their work of continuous improvement and reinforcement of the competitiveness of its commercial establishment, contributing to make Salou a tourist and commercial destination of reference.

This program, carried out within the framework of the "Comprehensive Support Plan for Retail Trade 2017", is an initiative of the State Chambers of Commerce with the support and funding of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness with the collaboration of the Department of Promotion and Economic Revitalization of the town hall. The technical staff of the Chamber of Commerce conducted an in-depth analysis of the different aspects of the trade, identifying its strengths and weaknesses in seven key areas of the business. Based on this analysis, a series of recommendations were provided to optimize the management of the establishment, which include increasing competitiveness, the orientation towards proactive management of trade, the definition of strategies to take advantage of commercial premises and the promotion of capacities of those responsible for the establishment. Finally, the analysis also informed on how new marketing, communication and window dressing techniques should be applied.
