The blue area will apply to a greater number of routes during Semana Santa

Salou. Costa Dorada. 10 March 2018. The City Council of Salou will extend the range of action of the blue parking area to a greater number of routes during Easter days. Thus, from March 23 until April 8, the schedule of validity of the regulated parking will be valid from 10 to 14 hours, and from 5 to 10 pm. The situation will return to "normality" and will be applied to places where the rest of the year applies: Carrer Barcelona, ​​Berenguer de Palou, Via Augusta, Via Roma and Ciutat de Reus, because it is commercial areas and for the needs of circulatory rotation.

Neighbors who do not yet have the new blue zone parking card can go to the OAC offices on the ground floor of the Town Hall from Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to midnight 14h. You do not have to wait until the regulated area is started. The conditions to be the beneficiary of the card must have the traffic tax of the vehicle domiciled in Salou and the current payment, as well as not having municipal traffic penalties pending payment. The original DNI of the owner of the vehicle or authorization signed by him must be presented with a photocopy of his DNI and carry the old card that will be replaced by one in force.

Citizens with a resident parking card may issue a ticket to park in the blue zone until the credit is exhausted, depending on the type. Once the balance is depleted, the card is canceled. (Valid until September 30, 2018).

There are two types of cards: the one of type 1 with 200 hours, for citizens with the tax of vehicles and that has his domicile in the streets before mentioned and another card recharged with 150 hours for the rest. Please take the expired cards to the OAC offices for recycling.

In the face of summer the blue zone will be activated from June 1 and until September 30 every day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The rest of the year only applies to the streets of Barcelona, ​​Berenguer de Palou, Escala Dei, Via Roma and some stretches of Reus City because it is commercial areas and the need to generate more circulatory rotation.
