Christmas lights in Salou
Salou has switched on its Christmas lights and unveiled a new Christmas tree, which has a more natural appearance than in previous years and is taller, reaching 12 meters in height. Additionally, the City Council has extended the Christmas lighting throughout the entire municipality and reinforced it in the main commercial hub of the Costa Dorada capital.
Next Generation to live well in Salou all year round and during the holidays
In Salou you live well but you will still live better because the City of Salou has received 11 million euros, from the Next Generation Funds, to make a more sustainable and resilient municipality from the environmental, economic and social point of view. The projects for 2021 are already executed in 90% and those for 2023, in 45%.
Up to 19 activities to enjoy doing sports in Salou during 2023
Salou has excellent facilities for practicing different sports disciplines. It is also the first municipality that obtained the Sports Tourism certification and has recently added that of Bicycle Tourism and Golf. The result of this bet is that in 2023 Salou will host 19 sports activities and competitions between January and December. Do you want to know what they are?

Salou remains the core of the 49th edition of the RACC Catalunya Costa Dorada , held from 24 to 27 October. The host city for the fourth time holds the initial test score ( Qualifying Stage) and the trophy podium .
