Al setembre, celebració de la Festa del Rei Jaume I
Del 5 al 8 de setembre del 2024, Salou celebra la sortida del rei Jaume I des del Port de Salou a la conquesta de Mallorca. Durant aquests dies, diverses activitats culturals, esportives i lúdiques recordaran aquell moment històric amb el Mercat Medieval, la recreació històrica de la sortida reial, les conferències, els tallers i una regata, entre d'altres actes.

Salou s'ha sumat aquest Nadal a la moda del ganxet i ha estrenat un arbre nadalenc confeccionat amb 300 quadres de colors que cobreixen una estructura de ferro de 3,20 metres d'alçada. La iniciativa ha estat possible gràcies a l'associació Grup de Dones de Salou, que ha comptat amb la col·laboració de l'Ajuntament i de diversos comerciants de la zona.
