Els treballs de millora del carrer Barenys de Salou s'han iniciat aquest matí, un dia després del previst a causa de la pluja. Les obres de manteniment en aquesta zona s'anivellaran el terreny i actuaran també en els llocs que s'utilitzen per a l'estacionament entre els carrers Via Aurèlia i Carles Roig.

Els Mossos d’Esquadra van detenir el 27 de febrer dos homes de 28 anys, de nacionalitat romanesa i veïns de Salou, com a presumptes autors d’un atracament comés a una benzinera a La Pineda, a Vila-seca, i van intimidar la treballadora amb ganivets.
370 estudiants de Salou participen en una plantada popular a la platja Llarga
Alumnes de sis escoles de Salou han participat en una plantada popular que s'ha dut a terme a la zona de la platja Llarga, amb la intenció de recuperar la massa forestal del litoral. Han estat un total de 370 estudiants de cursos compresos entre quart i sisè de primària, provinents de les escoles Europa, Salou, Santa Maria del Mar, Elisabeth, Vora Mar i Internacional del Camp.
