The AEHT wants zero VAT and expand terraces to face the COVID19
Representatives of the hospitality sector from all over the Tarragona region have participated in a virtual meeting to debate and share the future of the hospitality sector after the coronavirus.
Among the various interventions, there was consensus in denouncing that the aid offered by the Government is insufficient and that is why the sector demands zero VAT, the forgiveness of municipal taxes or the expansion of terraces when they can return to work.
PortAventura donates 500,000 euros to Tarragona hospitals
The PortAventura Foundation has donated 500,000 euros to buy state-of-the-art respirators that will be installed in the 7 hospitals in the province of Tarragona and more specifically in Tarragona, Reus, Tortosa, Valls, Vendrell and Móra d'Ebre. In this way, the Theme Park Foundation makes its contribution to fight the coronavirus COVID-19.

The City of Salou has approved a budget of 49.3 million euros by 2020, which means almost 5 percent more than in 2019. This figure includes the budget of the Tourist Board (2.3 million euros) and the Consortium Recreatiu i Turístic (2.4 million euros).
