Huguet opens Interpretive Prades Mountains Center and visits Alforja and Arbolí



Prades. Mountains of the Costa Dorada. The Minister for Innovation, Universities and Enterprise, Josep Huguet, opened this past Saturday, April 10, 2010, Nature Interpretation Centre and Ethnographic Prades Mountains, a center that is part of the Tourism Development Plan "Mountains of the Costa Dorada". The Nature Interpretation Centre and Ethnographic Prades Mountains is located in space that will house the future Civic Center Prades, currently still under construction. Moreover, Prades and has new signage that has incorporated many municipalities within the plan Baix Camp Gold Coast Mountains. The new Interpretation Centre Prades Mountains has a reception area and visitor information on the towns of Prades Prades Mountains with an audiovisual presentation about 7 minutes to explain the main features of the towns of Prades Mountains .     Products Prades Mountains The module presents the main taste quality products from the Mountains of Prades (Patatas de Prades, honey, nuts, mushrooms, etc). The module includes four tables reveals that propose different sets of perceptions relating the Prades Mountains with the senses, touch, smell, sight and hearing. The center also has a large window to the outside and through which you can see gardens, forests, different types of crops, etc. From here there has been a graphic on the window that explains and allows us to interpret the landscape you see. The history module includes an explanation of the history of man in the Mountains of Prades. Finally there are also spaces dedicated to environmental awareness and agroshops with traditional local products.     Climbing Arbolí In Prades, the Minister Huguet was accompanied during his visit by the president of the Regional Council of Baix Camp, Josep Masdeu, by the Mayor of Prades, Santiago Pons, and the director of the territorial services of the Department in Tarragona, Àngel Xifré. Subsequently, Huguet Arbolí visited the site of the future center for climbing to be located in this county, where he also introduced him to other projects planned in Pratdip and Riudecanyes within the Tourism Development Plan of the Gold Coast Mountains. Huguet Alforja ended his visit where he inaugurated the new signs three new walking routes that run through this county of Baix Camp. The Mountain Tourism Development Plan of the Gold Coast District Council that promotes the Baix Camp, in conjunction with 19 municipalities in mountain and inside the district, and that it should develop through 2011 foresees actions in the Albiol, the 'Aleixar, scrip, Almoster, Arbolí, L'Argentera, Les Borges del Camp, Botarell, Capafonts, Colldejou, Duesaigües, LaFebró, Maspujols, Prades, Pratdip, Riudecanyes, Riudecols, Vilanova d'Escornalbou and Vilaplana.
