Salou. Costa Dorada. December 29, 2012. For the 9th consecutive year the Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, and the manager of Rush, Anthony straw, signed an agreement of collaboration between the Foundation for the National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia and the city of Salou, which seals the willingness of both parties to the National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia (JONC) continue realizing its traditional "meetings" Christmas in the town from two perspectives: the training and the concert. The mayor said that "this event is something that makes a great project for Salou and country music culture and education of our youth." He added that "this is an element motivating the students of the School of Music of Salou and a way to support the work that we do in terms of learning, knowledge and dissemination of music." On the other hand stressed "the will and government commitment to the Foundation and Salou orchestras rushes to continue to conduct these visits Christmas in Salou and, thus, contribute to young people to continue with this interesting training project and orchestral music, while also spreading the musical culture in public concerts with TAS. " Meanwhile, the manager of JONC said "Salou receive many facilities and conditions are excellent and unique to work with the two orchestras, the fry and the great." He added: "This annual meeting is an investment in youth training and a commitment to values, art and culture of the country."
