The JONC is back to Salou



Salou. Costa Dorada. December 29, 2012. For the 9th consecutive year the Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, and the manager of Rush, Anthony straw, signed an agreement of collaboration between the Foundation for the National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia and the city of Salou, which seals the willingness of both parties to the National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia (JONC) continue realizing its traditional "meetings" Christmas in the town from two perspectives: the training and the concert. The mayor said that "this event is something that makes a great project for Salou and country music culture and education of our youth." He added that "this is an element motivating the students of the School of Music of Salou and a way to support the work that we do in terms of learning, knowledge and dissemination of music." He added: "This annual meeting is an investment in youth training and a commitment to values, art and culture of the country." It also noted that the objectives are "to provide a comprehensive youth orchestra and collaborating on their employability in the labor of the musical world."  After 10 days of testing, under the artistic direction of Manel Valdivieso JONC be two concerts at the Auditorium Theatre of Salou: - The JONC Fry on Friday, 4 January, at 20 pm, with free admission. - The rush, on January 7, at 20 pm with $ 5 admission price. 57th Meeting of the JONC: Bruckner, Brahms and Lutoslawsky The 71 students participating this year working works by three great composers: Bruckner (Symphony No. 7), Brahms (Opening tragic) and Lutoslawsky (Funeral Music), under the tutelage of Karl Anton Rickenbach and the collaboration of a team of teachers from the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, with a repertory program that pays tribute to two great composers: Bartók Wagmer. 29th Meeting of the JONC Alevins More than 50 students from the JONC Fry (musicians under age 19) are continuing the work started in the summer around the works of Mendelssohn, A Midsummer Night's Dream (suite), and complete the work the participation of the Children's Choir Friends Union Granollers
