Salou and Cambrils present the Fourth Edition of the Maritime Fair in Costa Daurada



Salou. Cambrils. Costa Dorada. The Councillor for Economic Development, Marc Montagut, the Councillor for Trade, Market and Consumer Pedro Lavilla, along with the mayor of Cambrils, Robert Benaiges and Councillor for Economic Development City of Cambrils, Anna Lopez, along with representatives of Sailing Clubs Salou and Cambrils, in a press conference presented the fourth edition of the Gold Coast Maritime Fair will take place from 27 to 29 May 2011 at Club Náutico de Salou. This year, the outdoor exhibition space located within the facilities of the Club Náutico de Salou. The fair opens on 27 May 2011 apt 6:30 m at the same marina in Salou with the presence of Sub-Delegate of the Government, Quim Nin. The Fair is open to all people in general and especially lovers of water sports, beach, fishing and cultural activities and culinary related. The objectives, among others, to promote the marina and maritime character of the two towns, promoting the sector to generate wealth and jobs, increase tourism and promote cultural elements related to the maritime world, promote the exchange of experiences and encourage the establishment of new businesses in the region. Mayor Cambrils Robert Benaiges, said during a press conference that the exhibition is the result of collaboration of the two cities and that "this fourth edition will help us position ourselves as a definitive benchmark in sailing territory. " In this line, the Councillor for Economic Development, Marc Montagut, explained that "the fruit of collaboration between the two administrations can repeat that this year the fair presents a wide range of activities and techniques that ultimately seeks to stimulate and involve the sector. " On Friday, there will be a talk 'Enjoy the experience of the Barcelona World Race' and a singing group with habaneras overseas. Saturday will include several baptisms and lute trips, kayaking and sailing, among others, as well as talks on fishing. As a novelty, the project will be presented on the ship Ecoinnomar sustainable, quiet, free of CO2. Sunday, among other activities, boat trips will cruise the Gold Coast, or baptism of diving as well as a children's show by the company Brotters Panettone.
