Salou celebrates 20 years of segregation with the festival on 30 October




Salou. Costa Dorada. The Councilor of Culture and Events, Isabel Aguilera, along with the mayor of Salou, Pedro Granados, presented a program of the festival on 30 October this year celebrates 20 years of segregation in the municipality. The Councilor of Culture and Events, Isabel Aguilera, explained: "This year the program has more than thirty performances and is characterized by a variety of proposals for all audiences". The mayor, Pedro Granados, remembered how "twenty years later as an independent municipality we can say that the festival of segregation services us to recognize the work of the whole society from Salou and the transformation of the municipality," he said. In addition to asserting that "it has been good for Salou while maintaining relations with the neighboring town. The festival begins this Sunday 25th October 2009 with a championship dominoes as well as the second editions of the walk and a festival aimed to bring together many people in a sport disciplines. On Tuesday 27 October at 8 am will be the traditional proclamation, by Jordi Gil TV3´s presenter and then turn on the trace to mark the beginning of the celebrations. Also on Thursday, October 29th will be the act of distinction of the favorite son of Salou in the person of Stephen Blasi and Fernando. Other activities that are expected to be massive on the opening day 30th Archaeological Park with the remains of the Roman town of Barenys, paella for the price of 2 € per person. Tickets will go on sale on Monday 26 October at the offices of the Culture Tas. The day of segregation at three in the afternoon will be the launch of rockets and Mascletà festival followed by the festival concert with the orchestra Wonder. On Sunday, November 1, closed the proceedings with activities aimed at children. The mayor of Salou, Pedro Granados, said: "3 years ago what established on 30 October as a festival, with the unanimity of all political groups, and this year coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the segregation that we wanted people to enjoy a great festival because it is a feast for all."
