We find a market economy with first signs of recovery, which could lead to slow but positive growth of the economy. Another main point of the presence of Salou in the WTM was to serve and support entrepreneurs in Salou. Also there were several meetings, including the director of the Tourist Office of Spain, Ignacio Vasallo, with the Spanish Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Charles Casajuana, with the association TTA Worldchoice agents and tour operators, meeting that was held in conjunction with Tourism of Costa Dorada PortAventura and OET London in order to get it done in Salou, the Congress of TTA Worldchoice 2011 (the second group of largest independent travel agencies in the UK) that the visit would consist of 450 travel agents in the area, among others. Mayor Pere Granados was delighted that the meetings were held during the fair and above "for future prospects" that emerge from the meetings. It said as if last year there was some uncertainty this year from interviews with tourist agents and tour operators derive a more optimistic outlook with regard to next season. " Meanwhile, from the local Tourist Board welcome the contacts and meetings held during the fair. As Councillor for Tourism, Alberto del Hierro "we must be positive for the next season and work together to maintain quality and service of our tourist attractions and our city as we are the leading tourist destination in Catalonia and family so we are showing both the number of visitors and families we choose for a holiday.
