The mayor of Salou, at the meeting, thanked those responsible for the "first-hand information we had and at the right time." Besides pointing out that "we can only welcome the large infusion of capital flowing to Salou with a future project and more so in times of crisis." The mayor has also expressed the highest willingness to cooperate because "we know what PortAventura means for us." In this sense, Granados has assured that "our opinion can not be another. We have done a more than positive analisys of what it means to Salou this capital increase in the park as a tourist destination because no one discusses the attractiveness of the park for our visitors. For his part, Lluís Rullan stressed the goodness of the capital and thanked the good cooperation that has been and remains with the city of Salou. "We have done great things," he noted. Investindustrial CEO, Bonomi, explained the project and says that the important sum of money that will reach the park in the coming years "will benefit customers, employees and shareholders of PortAventura, and will strengthen our position as a leading theme park in southern Europe. As explained, Investindustrial has been the majority shareholder of Gardaland, Italy's first theme park, with approximately 3.5 million visitors a year, where it helped improve growth and profitability of the park.
