Born  'Tarragona, a city of castles', an approach to cultural and leisure  towers that wants to bring the world to people not part of the gang and  also visitors and tourists to the Gold Coast. From  the Tourist Board have already created packages and offers to promote  this event, which aims to present one of the most famous festivals in  the country: the castles. It is an initiative by gangs of towers of Xiquets de Tarragona and Jove Xiquets de Tarragona. This initiative will take place in early summer, from 24 to 29 June. 
'Tarragona,  a city of castles' will start on the 24th with the celebration of the  feast of Sant Joan - Saint John, and in the course of the week will be going through  various activities which anyone who wishes can learn more about the background activity castellera participating in rehearsals, workshops, school castles, tours and social events gangs. For  example, two activities that have been planned are a tour castellera  with vermouth in place of the King, and a rehearsal dinner in the  evening to finish the towers. There will also be exhibitions, lectures and audiovisual.
'Tarragona, a city of castles' closes the last weekend in June with a dual activity. 29 will take place on Plaça del Rei castellera an exhibition, which will  include the participation of Xiquets and Jove, and on June 30, the tour will promote "Tarragona and the  world of castles" , ending with vermouth.
