The restaurants The Moli dels Avis, The Flash Bar, Les Espelmes and Caves Llopart get the gastronomic awards this year have been awarded annually by the Association of gourmet Tarragona. The XIII Trophy gastronomic dinner was held on Friday 14 January 2011 at the Hotel Ciutat de Tarragona. The gastronomic award is the Association each year awards Tarragona gourmet restaurants rated among the places visited in the entity that organizes monthly dinners each year. This time, recognition was for the mill of the Moli dels Avis, L'Ametlla de Mar. The owners, Josep Margalet and his wife, Joana Martin collected the trophy gastronomic 2010, by the artist Joan Blázquez, chairman of the Tourism Board of Tarragona. In addition, this year for the first time, the gourmet Tarragona have won the best drink served at the dinners during the year 2010 and have instituted Trophy Bacchus, who was awarded the first opportunity to Caves Llopart, being Pere Llopart who received the diploma awarded by the President of the Association of gourmet Emilio Mateo.   After the delivery and after a few speeches by the President of the Association of gourmet Emilio Mateu and Joan Aregio, president of Tourism Council of Tarragona Province, - that highlight the Costa Dorada and the Land Ebro in 2010 received more than 5 million tourists - the chef of the Hotel City Tarrragona, Omar Morales, offered attendees a menu that began with aperitifs, and Raf Kumato brotxeta tomato, chocolate of the estuaries of the cockle Yzaguirre, red pepper broth microgambes de la Vera smoked, roasted peppers and mini ball mushroom brioche; continuing royal foie gras, raspberries and chocolate and beef tenderloin with black truffle Iberian season, finishing with couland xocoalta of Guaruja, hot cocoa and tea, gin and tonic at the table finally to -196 ° Celsius and petits fours surprise. All this accompanied with Clos Montblanc white Xipella 2006 Premium, 2009 Premium black Magnum Llopart Cava Gran Reserva Brut Imperial Rose Brut Cava Llopart.   All attendees received a copy of the latest issue (the 138) of the magazine "Food and Tourism", which this summer celebrated its 25th anniversary, a DVD prepared by Paco Torralba, secretary of the Association of gourmet which summarizes all activities of Gourmet in 2010, and were given a bonsai.
