Cos Blanc stands out for its light and sound show



Salou. Costa Dorada. 22 January 2024. The Cos Blanc de Salou 2024 will be held on Saturday, February 3 with important news. The most notable is the new location, since the Cos Blanc, and the show that accompanies it, will be held on Passeig Jaume I. This year 28 groups will participate, with about 3,000 people dressed in costumes, and colorful floats, to experience the event again. best party on the Costa Daurada.

The parade to show off the floats and collas will be on Saturday, February 3, starting at 10:30 a.m. with the following route:

Departure from Advocat Gallego street, passing through Via Roma, Barcelona street, Sínies street, Ciutat de Reus street and returning along Via Roma until ending at Major street.

On the same day, February 3, the Cos Blanc itself will begin at 7 p.m. with the following route:

It will leave Paseo Jaume I (at the Plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes) with the Cos Blanc show and continue along Illes Balears street, Major street and Girona street to finish again at Paseo Jaume I. The show will take place in the same walk, in the section between Girona street and Pere III el Gran street/Joan Miarnau Ciurana street.

This section of the Jaume I promenade is where the light and sound show will take place as well as the characteristic confetti rain of the Cos Blanc, accompanied by trendy songs. Last year it included 10 light bridges, laser light and 120,000 watts of sound, as well as 20 cannons that shot confetti non-stop.

But the party doesn't end here. In the first section of the parking lot in the blue zone of Passeig Jaume I, a tent will be set up that will host a big dance with the Swing Latino Orchestra starting at 11 p.m., and at 3 a.m. the Cos Blanc Night will take over.

In addition, on February 1, 2 and 3, from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., there will be stands with terraces from different restaurant, music and entertainment establishments on Passeig Jaume I itself.
