La Boella celebrates the calçots all February




La Boella. Tarragona. Costa Dorada. February 9th, 2013. Coinciding with the start of the season great, La Boella offers a full menu around calçot to enjoy outdoors in the gardens of the estate, all weekends in February and March Prepared in the traditional manner, grilled with branch and romesco sauce, spring onions accompanied by a corresponding grilled meat and wine are offered to incoming and area for 45 € per person It is one of the most popular winter vegetables and the tasting, an authentic ritual that has already spread to the whole country and that is quite a party Tarragona social and family. The calçots, of slight sweetness, with nutrition and to get their hands on, arrive at their peak of flavor and tenderness to La Boella to star in the most lively and authentic calçotadas area in a privileged environment: under an old farmhouse S. XII surrounded by 6,500 m2 of gardens and over 110 hectares of olive groves.   The proposed La Boella includes a snack of Arbequina olives grown on the farm, cheese and salami in the area and bread with tomato and spring onions, prepared grilled and accompanied with sarmiento salsa, all served as the old-fashioned, outdoors in the gardens of the estate. As main courses, and about to take sitting inside the farmhouse, the menu includes a strong parrilada of lamb chops, sausage, black pudding and sausage with potatoes roasted caliu, fried artichokes and white beans. The menu price is 45 € per person with wines of Montsant, Carles Andreu Cava and dessert included and also have a children's menu for 10 €.
