PortAventura donates 500,000 euros to Tarragona hospitals

Salou. Costa Dorada. 20 March 2020. The PortAventura Foundation has donated 500,000 euros to buy state-of-the-art respirators to be installed in Tarragona hospitals and more specifically in:
  • Joan XXIII University Hospital of Tarragona
  • Hospital de Sant Pau i Santa Tecla de Tarragona
  • Sant Joan de Reus University Hospital
  • Tortosa Verge de la Cinta Hospital
  • Pius Hospital de Valls
  • Vendrell Hospital
  • Comarcal Hospital of Móra d'Ebre
According to the president of the Foundation, Ramon Marsal, "with this initiative, the PortAventura Foundation wants to show its total availability and its commitment to help protect the community with which it has been collaborating for several years and which is linked by a very special bond".

For his part, the president of PortAventura World, Arturo Mas-Sarda, said that “in this exceptional situation, PortAventura World wants to dedicate all our efforts and contribution to supporting the health system. We would also like to acknowledge and appreciate the great dedication and effort of healthcare personnel who, from these hospitals and many others throughout Spain, are fighting on the front line to combat the Covid-19 outbreak. ”
