Salou to install a giant screen to show the Spain–France match

On Tuesday, 14 July, the Centre Sports Pavilion in Salou will become the meeting point for football fans, residents and visitors to watch live the FIFA World Cup semi-final between Spain and France.

Salou Town Council will install a giant screen at the pavilion so that everyone can enjoy the match, which will kick off at 9:00 p.m. Access will be free until full capacity is reached.

Salou previously organised a similar event in July 2024, when it installed a giant screen in Plaça de la Pau to broadcast a UEFA European Championship match. On that occasion, spectators celebrated Spain's victory in a festive and family-friendly atmosphere that brought together a large number of football fans.
