Nits Daurades, the biggest festival of the capital of the Costa Dorada
From August 1 to 15, 2025, Salou will enjoy the Nits Daurades, which is the name by which its festival is known. In this edition, popular culture, live music and the municipality's maritime traditions will be prominent elements of the festive program. All events, schedules and venues are detailed below.
XI Charity Gala in favor of the fight against Cancer
The Oncological Association Dr. Amadeu Pelegrí, with the collaboration of Salou City Council, is organizing, next Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 9 p.m. the 11th charity gala '¡Despegamos! Fasten your belts', at the Teatre Auditori (TAS).
Thirty instructors will participate in the day of dance against cancer
The "Zumba Masterclass Dancing Against Cancer Salou", the charity event that aims to raise awareness about the fight against this disease, will count this year with the participation of around thirty instructors. In addition, trainers and choreographers will participate, who have been sensitized with this initiative, which is part of the Zumba instructor, Noelia Fernández; the City Council of Salou and the Oncologist Association Dr. Amadeu Pelegri.
The plenary session approves that Salou is a "city for Peace" that recognizes the victims of violence
The corporation approved yesterday a motion that declared Salou a "city for peace and non-violence" through an institutional declaration of recognition to all victims of violence. This initiative, presented by all the members of the council, wants to locate in the capital of the Costa Daurada as a municipality free of all violence and in favor of peace.
Carnaval Xic's, the solidarity party against childhood cancer, is celebrated next Sunday
The fourth edition of Carnival Xic's, the great celebration of solidarity with childhood cancer in Salou, will be held next Sunday, February 11th, at the Salou Center Pavilion from 5 to 8 pm. It is a great celebration that is expected to bring together six hundred people.
