The Duna Gran Forest and Pla del Maset: A New Natural Route in Salou
Salou adds a new area to the municipality's network of natural spaces: the Duna Gran Forest and the Pla del Maset. Located in Cap Salou, this is a wooded area where nature and landscape blend with traditional agricultural heritage, allowing Salou to reclaim a part of its history, including an experimental plantation of two recovered grape varieties.

Tourist train of Salou

Salou has done it again and has closed 2025 with record figures that consolidate the municipality as the leading destination of the Costa Dorada and one of the most important in Catalonia and Spain. Specifically, more than 2.4 million visits chose Salou for their holidays in 2025, 4.78% more than in 2024, and more than 8.6 million overnight stays were recorded, 4.21% more than the previous year.
