Investment of 3.2 million euros to improve streets and public spaces
L'Ajuntament de Salou realitzarà una important inversió, de fins a 3,2 milions d'euros, destinada a la millora dels carrers i espais públics. Per a això, s'ha dividit el municipi en set zones d'actuació, on es destinaran 2 ME i a partir de gener es destinaran 1,1 ME a la millora dels carrers del Terrer, Louis Braille i la zona del carrer Burguera. A més, s'ha tret a licitació el projecte de l'avinguda Carles Buigas, on es destinaran altres 3 ME.
The City Council shows its rejection of violence against women
Salou has demonstrated its rejection of violence against women through a series of events on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Among these, there is a Personal Defense workshop against male violence. This initiative, organized by the Women's Information and Advice Service (SIAD) of the City Council, is part of the Second Local Equality Plan addressed to the citizens of 2015-2019 and aims to promote gender equality and raise society's awareness to reduce the acts of macho violence.

La edición 2018 de la Noche del Deporte se celebrará el viernes 30 de noviembre
El próximo viernes, 30 de noviembre, se celebrará en el Teatro Auditorio de Salou la Noche del Deporte, la fiesta donde se premian las entidades, asociaciones y deportistas del municipio por su labor a lo largo del año. La gala será presentada por el periodista deportivo de la televisión TAC12, Sergi Amat y está previsto que asistan más de 300 deportistas, además de sus familiares hasta agotar la capacidad del teatro (unas 550 personas).
Manos a la obra con la renovación del pavimento en las principales vías
El consistorio salouense destinará más de cien mil euros en la renovación del pavimento de las avenidas y calles que presentan un aspecto ajado con el paso del tiempo y el uso. Es por eso que esta mañana se ha empezado a actuar en la calle Comisión de Fiestas.
El pleno decide congelar los impuestos y regular las viviendas turísticas en 2019
El consistorio de Salou decidió en el pleno municipal del 31 de octubre congelar los impuestos y las tasas municipales para 2019. Además de esta medida, que tiene una intención de asegurar la estabilidad presupuestaria y mantener la calidad de los servicios que presta el Ayuntamiento a los ciudadano, se acordó crear una ponencia para estudiar el fenómeno de las viviendas de uso turístico.
Alcalde y conseller acuerdan poner fin al problema del barranco de Barenys en 2020
Pere Granados, alcalde de Salou, y Damià Calvet, conseller de Territorio y Sostenibilidad de la Generalitat, han acordado un calendario para el encauzamiento del barranco de Barenys, que se iniciaría a principios de 2020. Se prevé que en junio del próximo año el proyecto sea aprobado por el ACA, se lleven a cabo las expropiaciones y se liciten las obras.
Paella "en honor" de la segregación en las fiestas del 30 de Octubre
Casi 900 raciones de paella se han servido el mediodía de la celebración del 30 de Octubre. El acto tenía como objetivo homenajear la efeméride del día de la segregación del municipio de Vila-seca, hace 29 años. Este mediodía los concejales del Ayuntamiento, encabezados por el alcalde de Salou, Pere Granados, han servido la multitudinaria paella en el Pavellón Salou Centre.
400 participantes en las tres primeras pruebas de las Fiestas del 30 de Octubre
Cerca de 400 personas han participado esta mañana de domingo en las diferentes actividades deportivas que daban inicio a las Fiestas del 30 de octubre, en Salou. Las pruebas han sido una bicicletada, una excursión y una caminata popular. Los tres "frentes" han reunido cerca de 400 personas.
Finaliza la temporada de playas en el segundo año sin víctimas mortales
La concejalía de Policía Local y Protección Civil de Salou ha valorado muy positivamente la temporada de playas que ha concluido estos días, especialmente por ser el segundo año en el que no se han registrado víctimas mortales. Este hecho ha llevado al concejal del área, David González, a afirmar que "podemos decir que ha sido una muy buena temporada".
El alcalde pide a las altas esferas mayor financiación para mejorar el turismo
Pere Granados, alcalde de Salou, ha solicitado una mayor implicación de las administraciones superiores en la modernización de los destinos turísticos, mediante una mayor financiación. Granados ha participado hoy en el XIX Foro Internacional de Turismo de Benidorm Smart Data 2018.
