Marine itineraries, the new way of tourism in Salou
Salou wants to take advantage of the attractiveness of its marine ecosystem by means of an activity, a prioress on the Costa Dorada, which consists of swimming along signed marine itineraries. A team of specialized monitors will lead those who want to do this activity, which will be free. The aim is to disseminate the Vias Bravas, marine routes marked for swimming and diving. It is a project supported by the Tourist Board of Salou that aims to promote sport at sea.
The improvement of beach services and the quality are a priority objective in Salou
Salou has been identified throughout history for having quality beaches, which are recognized with ISO 14,001 quality control, blue flags and quality Q. These recognitions were externalized to Salouenses with a symbolic act held in the plaza of the Autonomous Communities in which flags were raised on the beaches of the municipality.
Inauguration of the new space of Cala Morisca, a prized balcony to the sea
Cala Morisca de Salou, next to Cala Crancs, was always a natural area admired by the Salouenses, but they have not been able to enjoy it until now, since it was always in private hands. Mayor Granados inaugurated this recovered space last Sunday, which becomes part of the Camí de Ronda.
Awareness campaign on incivility in garbage management in Salou
L'Ajuntament de Salou vol conscienciar a els Seus Ciutadans dels costos que comporta per a l'municipi l'incivisme a l'hora d'tractar a els residus i Escombraries. Ho fa mitjançant una campanya, que durarà Fins a finals del Proper mes de octubre i que Proposa Accions puntuals entre Comerços, grans Productors, Ciutadans i Visitants.
Campaign 'Let's clean up Europe' to raise awareness among salouenses about cleaning and discharges in the municipality
Salou has joined the campaign "Let's Clean up Europe", which aims to raise awareness among citizens of 27 regions of Europe about discharges, garbage and customs related to the cleanliness of the municipality. To do this, the Department of Environment of the City of Salou has organized activities aimed at carrying out the change of unhealthy habits from 11 to 13 May.
