This summer Salou opens a smoke-free area on the beach
This summer, Salou's Ponent beach has a marked area of almost 12,000 square meters smoke-free, that is, where you cannot smoke or vape. This area is close to the Nautical Club and includes a playground and spaces for practicing sports on the beach (calisthenics and volleyball, among others).
What to do in Salou during Holy Week 2024

More places to park for free in Salou this summer
Salou City Council has enabled a new free parking space with capacity for 300 vehicles on a plot of land in Carrer del Terrer. The space has an area of 5,244.05 square meters and will operate during the summer season until November 2022.

The Camino de Ronda is extended by more than 1 km and 6 new viewpoints
The Camino de Ronda de Salou already adds 1,250 meters more and reaches La Pineda, in the neighboring municipality of Vila-seca, after the intervention carried out by the Port Authority of Tarragona, which has invested more than 86,000 euros in the adaptation of the space between Cap Salou and La Pineda beach. A section of path on the cliffs that offers 6 new viewpoints to enjoy new views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Salou with Ukraine, against war and violence
The Mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, together with the Municipal Corporation, met in front of the doors of the Salou Town Hall to read an institutional declaration condemning the military invasion of Ukraine, supporting the Ukrainian people and committing to peace. About 300 people attended the event, including a representation of the Ukrainian community of the municipality.
