Nits Daurades, la festa major de la capital de la Costa Daurada
De l'1 al 15 d'agost de 2025, Salou gaudirà de les Nits Daurades, que és el nom amb el qual es coneix la seva Festa Major. En aquesta edició la cultura popular, la música en directe i les tradicions marineres del municipi seran elements destacats del programa festiu. Tots els actes, i els horaris i llocs de celebració es detallen a continuació.
Platges de Salou sostenibles, segures i saludables per gaudir de l’estiu
El mar, la platja, el sol i la brisa marina són desitjats a l’estiu per gaudir de les vacances i dels moments d’oci i de descans. Però no n’hi ha prou. Per això el municipi de Salou ja fa temps que treballa perquè anar a la platja sigui una experiència inoblidable, gràcies a la protecció de l’entorn natural i als serveis que s’hi ofereixen. Per això les platges de Salou són platges sostenibles, segures i saludables, i per això són úniques.
Next Generation per viure bé a Salou tot l’any i durant les vacances
A Salou es viu bé però encara es viurà millor perquè l'Ajuntament de Salou ha rebut 11 milions d'euros, provinents dels Fons Next Generation, per a fer un municipi més sostenible i resilient des del punt de vista ambiental, econòmic i social. Els projectes de 2021 ja estan executats en el 90% i els de 2023, en el 45%.
Fogueres i festes de Sant Joan 2025 a la platja
Res millor que començar l'estiu celebrant el solstici d'aquesta època de l'any a la platja, amb una bona foguera de Sant Joan i una festa que combina tradició i revetlles. Si busques aquest paquet complet, vine a Salou i gaudeix d'un cap de setmana màgic.
Aparcar gratis a Salou
Si el nostre objectiu és aparcar gratis a Salou en plena temporada turística hem de tenir en compte que és missió difícil, però no del tot impossible, sempre que estiguem disposats a caminar.
Aparcar a la zona blava a l'estiu
L'1 de juny l'Ajuntament de Salou activa la zona blava de les diferents àrees d'aparcament regulat del municipi, que funcionen cada dia de la setmana, de dilluns a diumenge, de 10h a 14h i de 17h a 21h, excepte als pàrquings de Llevant i Nord. De compres pel Mercat de l'Espigó fins al 28 de setembre
Fins el 17 de setembre de 2023, visitants i residents de Salou tenen un nou atractiu per gaudir de les nits d'estiu al costat de la mar: el Mercat de l'Espigó. Obre cada dia per oferir diversos productes de decoració i complements.
Sabor Salou, la fira gastronòmica de la Costa Daurada
Del 23 al 25 de maig del 2025, el passeig Jaume I acull la millor fira gastronòmica de la Costa Daurada, el Sabor Salou. Amb quarantena establiments participants, s'espera més de 40.000 persones i la distribució de 50.000 degustacions de productes locals de gran qualitat, a més de tallers gastronòmics, tasts i altres activitats totalment gratuïtes.
Els principals municipis turístics reforcen la seva presència al mercat britànic
Els principals municipis turístics d'Espanya reunits a l'Aliança de Municipis Turístics Sol i Platja (Adeje, Arona, Benidorm, Calvià, Lloret de Mar, Salou, Sant Bartomeu de Tirajana i Torremolinos) s'han reunit a Londres amb els principals tuors operadors britànics per reforçar la destinació turística espanyola en el mercat britànic.

Salou, a destination of excellence for family tourism HOLA Família!
Salou has been awarded the certificate of family tourism destination “HOLA Família!” by the Catalan Tourism Agency, which recognises the excellence of the municipality's tourist offer, especially aimed at families. So much so that Salou meets 86% of the required requirements (31 out of 36), which makes the capital of the Costa Dorada one of the best family tourism destinations in the Mediterranean.
In September, celebration of the Feast of King Jaume I
From 5 to 8 September 2024, Salou celebrates the departure of King Jaume I from the Port of Salou to conquer Mallorca. During these days, various cultural, sporting and recreational activities will remember that historic moment with the Medieval Market, the historical recreation of the royal departure, conferences, workshops and a regatta, among other events.

The beaches of Salou, ready for the summer season
The Salou City Council already has the two main security devices ready for the summer season on the municipality's beaches: the Beach Police Station and the lifeguard service. The first will have twenty service agents, while the lifeguard service has various land and water vehicles for rescue tasks.
