Salou have had a train station since 1865. The old Carles Roig street station was located in the center of Salou, very close to Barcelona street and Carrilet square. In this square you can see, as a monument, one of the machines and a wagon of this old narrow-gauge railway that between 1887 and until November 10, 1975 linked Reus and Salou. Currently, the Carrilet station houses a children's space and on the old tracks a park with several games is built, including a train that recalls the old Carrilet.
