Salou expects 30,000 people to celebrate the 2020 Coso Blanco

Salou prepares 25 tons of confetti for the Coso Blanco



Salou. Costa Dorada. 29 January 2020. Salou, the capital of the Costa Dorada already has everything ready to celebrate on Saturday, February 1, 2020 the most emblematic act of the Winter Festival, the Coso Blanco, which turns 40. The municipality expects 30,000 people to enjoy the best light and sound show with 10 light bridges and 120,000 watts of music, which transforms Salou in the rain of 25 tons of confetti thrown by the floats and fired by 20 guns distributed in the central part of the route.

But this parade that takes place at night is preceded by other activities such as the showcases that show off the 29 floats that make the Coso Blanco possible. At 11 in the morning the floats will parade through the streets Abogado Gallego, c. Carrilet, c. Barcelona, ​​Paseo Jaime I, and to the bus station; and back for the ride. Jaume I, c. Barcelona, ​​Via Roma and arrival, again, to c. Galician lawyer. This parade will serve to choose the best costume, the best film and the best choreography.

At the end a popular vermouth will be served in the tent located in the Manuel de Albinyana Park, and the festive atmosphere will continue in the young area with DJ music, inflatables for the little ones, and a Fiesta Mayor concert by the Maravella orchestra from 5pm.

But at seven in the afternoon everyone will be ready for the best show, the Coso Blanco. With live music by DJ Moncho, and the incombustible voice of Coso Blanco, that of Juanma Hidalgo, lasers and the most amazing light effects will give way to the best parade of floats with the following route: Calle Abogado Gallego, c . Carrilet, c. by Juan Manuel Muñoz, c. City of Reus, Via Roma, c. Barcelona and c. of the Norias; happening again, in a second round, by c. City of Reus, Via Roma and c. Barcelona.

The party will continue in the tent with the Maravella orchestra, and the subsequent celebration of the "Coso Blanco Night" until well into the morning.
