Grand Equestrian Festival and the Cós de San Antonio's races

Vila-seca. Costa Dorada. To mark the declaration of the Cós of Sant Antoni as a traditional festival of national interest, this January 15, the Torre d´en Dolça will be the place for the Great Equestrian Festival. All competitors will be racing donkeys, horses and pony rides and enjoy educational workshops on the Roman world. On 16 January at 12.00 pm, (Raval del mar) will be the day of the traditional body of Saint Anthony. This three day racing will take place: 1a. Race. Municipal Tourism Award Vila-seca Gallop, English thoroughbred horses - 1.700m distance. 2a. Race. Award "la Caixa" Gallop, English thoroughbred horses - 1.700m distance. 3a. Race. Grand Prize City of Vila-seca Gallop, English thoroughbred horses - 2.500m distance. The winners of the first and second race will receive a prize of nearly 2700 euros and 3200 respectively, while the Grand Prize of the City of Vila-seca is endowed with almost 5000 euros.
