SunClub recovers the historic hotel CalaVinya
At the end of the season, the local company SunClub has made the official opening ceremony of the hotel CalaVinya, the historic hotel built in 1962 by the architect Antonio Bonet Castallana, one of the most outstanding Catalan rationalist architects of the 20th century. New train station Salou-PortAventura

On January 26, 2025, Salou officially began to act as Capital of Catalan Culture 2025, after taking over from Sabadell, which held the title during 2024. From this moment on, Salou is the cultural reference point of Catalonia and has 12 months ahead to strengthen its cultural role in various areas such as heritage, history, popular and traditional culture, and in different artistic expressions.
