The opening of the Sabor Salou 2026 gastronomic fair has broken all previous records. The Jaume I promenade was completely packed with locals and visitors eager to enjoy the offerings from the fair's 56 stands and the world's longest charity tiramisu.
Sabor Salou kicks off with a 20-meter charity tiramisu
The Sabor Salou food festival will open this Friday, May 22, at 7:30 p.m. on the Jaume I Promenade, featuring a unique charity initiative: a 20-meter-long tiramisu, which organizers claim will be the longest in the world. More than 2,000 portions of this spectacular tiramisu are expected to be distributed at a symbolic price of 1 euro per serving.
