Salou once again hosts a massive soccer tournament, the Mare Nostrum ESEI Cup
Salou will host this weekend, from July 2 to 4, a massive soccer tournament, the first to be held after to Covid 19. The Mare Nostrum ESEI Cup will be held at the facilities of the Salou Futbol Complex and it will do it simultaneously in four fields in the modalities of soccer 11 and soccer 7, with 32 men's teams.
Campaign to promote shopping in Salou for all types of families
Salou has launched a campaign to encourage purchases in the municipality and promote local commerce.
With the name “Family Shopping Salou”, the campaign has the particularity that it is dedicated to all kinds of diverse and plural families, in line with the Family Tourist Destination seal that it has held since 2003.
Boost to the last section of the Camino de Ronda
The Salou City Council does not stop promoting improvements and actions that allow the completion of the Camino de Ronda, which runs along the entire coastline of the capital of the Costa Dorada by the sea. “God is in the House” es la exposición pictórica de Pere Galera que acoge la Torre Vella de Salou hasta el 29 de mayo de 2021. En total son 23 obras que ocupan las dos salas del recinto, en las que el pintor muestra su trabajo sobre la estructura del espacio y un proceso de transformación continuo del mismo.
El Ayuntamiento destina 1,4 M€ a las familias y empresas del municipio
El Ayuntamiento de Salou ya ha dado a conocer el nuevo paquete de medidas que tiene preparado para ayudar directamente a las familias y las empresas del municipio ante la crisis económica por la pandemia. En su conjunto, casi 1,4 millones de euros que se suman a los casi 8 millones de euros en ayudas que ya destinó el consistorio en 2020.
Salou quiere recuperar el turismo ruso
El alcalde de Salou y presidente del Patronato de Turismo del municipio, Pere Granados, se ha reunido telemáticamente con el consejero de Turespaña en Rusia, Antonio de la Morena, para establecer acciones de colaboración que permitan recuperar el turismo ruso para Salou, una vez se supere la situación de pandemia. En el encuentro también ha participado el gerente del Patronato, Marc Espasa.

Proyecto para recuperar los bunkers de la Guerra Civil para las visitas turísticas
El Ayuntamiento y el Patronato Municipal de Turismo de Salou están trabajando la recuperación y conservación de diferentes bunkers y construcciones utilizados durante la Guerra Civil para las visitas turísticas. Concretamente se trata del Bunker de la Glorieta, del Bunker de la Atalaya, del Nido de metralletas del Po-Roig, y del Nido de metralletas de la Punta del Cavall.

6 pasos para peatones superarán la vía del tren que parte Salou en dos mitades
El Ayuntamiento de Salou se ha propuesto mejorar la movilidad de los vecinos y visitantes del municipio conectando las dos partes de la localidad que están partidas en 2 por la vía del tren desde hace años. Para conseguirlo construirá 6 pasos, 3 para peatones y bicicletas y otros 3 para vehículos y peatones.
El camping Sangulí mejorará sus instalaciones con nuevos bungalós
El camping Sangulí, considerado uno de los mejores de Europa, ha obtenido la licencia del Ayuntamiento de Salou para mejorar sus instalaciones y substituir diversas móvil homes por 40 bungalós, en una zona que ocupa 7.621 metros cuadrados. La inversión prevista es de 1.260.000 euros.
Concurso navideño de escaparates para dinamizar el comercio y las calles
El área de Dinamización Económica del Ayuntamiento de Salou, con la colaboración de la Asociación Shopping Salou Comerciantes y Empresarios, pone en marcha el concurso de escaparates de Navidad 2020, con el objetivo de promover y dinamizar el comercio local, y hacerle partícipe del embellecimiento de la ciudad durante las fiestas navideñas.
