FOTOSPORT is installed in the Torre Vella until December 14, 2019
Sports photography lovers will enjoy a new edition of the FOTOSPORT 2018 show by Salou. The exhibition has been installed in the Torre Vella where it can be visited until December 14. There are 47 works selected from 1599 photographs sent by 129 artists from 32 countries around the world.
Salou festival 2019: 30 years of segregation
The biggest festival that Salou celebrates each year in October has a special significance for this year because 30 years ago the segregation of Salou and its constitution in an independent municipality of Vila-seca. The culminating moment was October 30, 1989, when the Supreme Court issued a ruling favorable to the constitution of the municipality of Salou.
64 teams registered in the 55 RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada

From October 24 to 27, 2019, Salou and the Costa Dorada will host the scoring event for the rally world RallyRacc Catalunya-Costa Daurada. The municipal budget of Salou for 2019 exceeds 47 million euros
Salou will count for the next year with a budget of 47,021,500 euros and will allocate 5.8 million euros to municipal investments. In addition to the approval of the accounts, in the same plenary session, the City Council agrees to the adhesion of the city to the Association of Tourism Municipalities of Sun and Beach AMT, whose statutes have been approved.
The City Council shows its rejection of violence against women
Salou has demonstrated its rejection of violence against women through a series of events on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Among these, there is a Personal Defense workshop against male violence. This initiative, organized by the Women's Information and Advice Service (SIAD) of the City Council, is part of the Second Local Equality Plan addressed to the citizens of 2015-2019 and aims to promote gender equality and raise society's awareness to reduce the acts of macho violence.
