Després que la pandèmia allunyés el futbol de Salou, finalment la capital de la Costa Daurada recupera aquesta activitat esportiva gràcies a la iniciativa del Futbol Salou Sport Center, un complex esportiu únic a la zona i un dels millors d'Europa. Així, la Surf Cup International i el Costa Daurada Trophy han tornat la competició internacional de futbol a Salou amb més de 1200 participants.

Novembre és un mes especial al calendari gastronòmic de Salou perquè el gran protagonista a les cuines dels principals restaurants de la capital de la Costa Daurada és el calamar. L'Ajuntament de Salou ha modificat la seva ordenança de trànsit per regular la circulació de vehicles de mobilitat personal (VMP) pel municipi, i especialment els patinets elèctrics i les bicicletes de pedaleig assistit. L'ordenança està consensuada amb els municipis veïns de Cambrils i Vila-seca.
