The Maritime Fair of the Costa Daurada de Cambrils expects 15,000 attendees
The organization of the Maritime Fair of the Costa Daurada, which will be held in Cambrils from May 17 to 20, expects more than 15,000 people to attend. Organized by the Club Náutico de Cambrils by delegation of the City Council of the town, this exhibition is already considered a benchmark in nautical throughout Catalonia.
The Nautical Base and the Salou Center Pavilion, ready for the Mediterranean Games
The sports facilities that will host the trials of the Mediterranean Games in Salou, which will be undersecretary in Vela and Takwondo, are already ready to welcome the athletes. Yesterday, the mayor of the town, Pere Granados; the president of the Diputación de Tarragona, Josep Poblet and the commissioner of the Mediterranean Games Tarragona 2018, Javier Villamayor visited the facilities, which have been reformed for the occasion, with an investment of 570,000 euros.
20,000 athletes will participate in a full Semana Santa of competitions
The Costa Dorada will be filled with sports events during the days of Holy Week, which is expected to involve some 20,000 athletes from both the national territory and from outside our borders. This influx of athletes and their families will stay in hotels in Salou, Cambrils and Vila-seca, La Pineda, towns that will host a high number of events and sports championships.
Inaugurated the Nautical Base, seat of sailing of the Games of the Mediterranean
Salou already has the new facilities to promote light sailing, the Station or Nautical Base that, since July 2, hosts the Raceboard World Championship. In addition, the Nautical Base will also be the sailing seat of the Mediterranean Games in Salou 2018.
Salou extends the certification of Sports Tourism to the modality of light sailing
Salou has extended the current certification of Sports Tourism in the modality of light sailing with the accreditation of the Nautical Club.
The capital of the Costa Dorada already had the accreditation in Soccer and was pioneer in the one of Familiar Tourism in 2003.

First gastronomic romesco event in Cambrils
