Project for the integral renovation of five streets of the Carles Buigas area
The streets Falset, Penedès, Torremolinos, Ramon Llull and Roger de Llúria de Salou will be completely renovated soon, as can be seen from the project that the City Council has recently closed. The budget for the works amounts to 96,800 euros and the works will be extended over six months.
City Councils and Generalitat agree that 14 trains a day interconnect with the station Salou-Port Aventura
Territory and Sustainability of the Generalitat has reached an agreement with the municipalities of Salou, Tarragona, Cambrils, Reus and Vila-seca to shape the future of the Camp de Tarragona infrastructures. These new strategies will mean that the Salou-Port Aventura station is interconnected by fourteen trains a day.

Salou has extended the current certification of Sports Tourism in the modality of light sailing with the accreditation of the Nautical Club.
The capital of the Costa Dorada already had the accreditation in Soccer and was pioneer in the one of Familiar Tourism in 2003.
